Colombians, Brazilians and Mexicans triumph from the start

The two representatives from Colombia, as well as those from Brazil and Mexico, were the winners in the first round of the XVI Intercontinental Indoor Soccer Cup that began at the Coliseo del Cafe in the city of Armenia, Colombia. In the main game, the host Caciques del Quindío beat Paraguayan Sport Azucena 8-3. The other local team and defending champion, Faraones de Pitalito, beat Deportivo Automar from Venezuela 7-2, while Calvario Latino from Mexico beat Timón de Pando (Uruguay) 2-1 and CEFES from Brazil also beat Montsant from Cataluña 7-2. SECOND DAY

This is the schedule for the 2nd round of the Intercontinental Cup:

14.00 hours: CEFES (Brazil) vs. Sport Azucena (Paraguay)

16.00 hours: Deportivo Automar (Venezuela) vs. Timon de Pando (Uruguay)

18.00 hours: Pharaohs of Pitalito (Colombia) vs. Calvario Latino (Mexico)

8:00 p.m.: Caciques of Quindio (Colombia) vs. Montsant (Catalonia)

The matches are announced in local time. Paraguay is one hour ahead of Colombia.
