Paraguay beat Colombia in overtime and won the C15 world title

After ten years, (the initial edition was played in 2016 and was won by Brazil in Ciudad Presidente Franco, Paraguay) the second C15 World Cup of the World Futsal Association was revived, which was affected by the pandemic and could not be held at the time and was finally able to be regularized this year.

The championship, which featured teams from twelve countries, was a great success in the cities of Carmen del Paraná and Coronel Bogado in the Paraguayan department of Itapúa.

The decisive day, held this Sunday, saw a full house at the venue, whose capacity of two thousand spectators was not enough, given the great expectation generated, leaving fans outside the coliseum unable to enter.

In the decisive match, the home team Paraguay and Colombia tied 1-1 in normal time and had to resort to extra time at the end of which the home team, the Paraguayan national team, won 3-2.
