Caciques of Colombia are undefeated champions of the Intercontinental

The XVI Intercontinental Indoor Soccer Championship ended at the Coliseo del Café in Armenia, Colombia, with the host team Caciques del Quindio coming out undefeated, defeating the Mexican team Calvario Latino de Tijuana in the final by a narrow margin of one to zero. The only goal was scored by Cristian Camilo Romero.

The Colombian team Faraones de Pitalito took third place after beating Sport Azucena from Coronel Oviedo, Paraguay, 5-3. The goals for the Colombian team were scored by Julián Burtica 3, Jorge Aldemar Velez and Harrison Llanos. Alejandro Nuñez, Rolando Ascona and Floriano Pereira scored for the Paraguayan team.
