This Thursday, the third date of the AMF Intercontinental Cup, Pitalito 2023, was completed, with victories by Simón Bolívar from Paraguay and the local Faraones de Pitalito (Cover photo).
In the first game, Simón Bolívar defeated Calvarios Latinos of Mexico 6-4. Daniel Benitez scored twice for the Guarani, Pitu Roman, Sebastián Beltrán (against his fence), José Gill Melgarejo and Diego Flores. While the Mexicans' goals were scored by Mario Cebreros, Jhon Orejuela and two conversions by Marcos Colina.
In the baseline game, Faraones de Pitalito obtained its second straight victory in the contest, this time beating Caciques del Quindío, also from Colombia, by 4-3.
José Meza from Paraguay was released on this date.
