José Meza and Faraones will define the Intercontinental Cup

The 5th date of the AMF Intercontinental Club Cup in Pitalito Colombia was completed this Saturday, with victories by José Meza from Paraguay and Calvarios Latinos from Mexico, but they qualified for the final that will be played this Sunday between José Meza and Faraones.

José Meza (cover photo) beat Caciques del Quindío 2-1 in the first round. Cristian Romero opened the scoring for the Colombians, but the Paraguayans turned things around with goals from Edgardo Martínez and Julio Rodas.

In the second round, Calvarios Latinos from Mexico beat the local Faraones de Pitalito 2-1, but the locals, despite the defeat, achieved their place in the Intercontinental title game against the Paraguayans for the final classification.
