At the headquarters of the World Futsal Association, a modern and functional building located in the residential area of Santísima Trinidad in Asunción, Paraguay, the draw for the series and the ordering of the matches of the group stage of the C13 World Cup of the discipline was carried out, which will be played from the 7th to the 12th in six successive days at the main headquarters of Carmen del Paraná and sub-headquarters of Coronel Bogado, department of Itapúa.
Based on merit and better historical background in the sport, Paraguay, Colombia and Brazil were designated as top seeds.
The groups were thus formed:
Group A: Paraguay, Mexico, Canada and Chile;
Group B: Colombia, Uruguay, Australia and Argentina;
Group C: Brazil, Catalonia, United States and Bolivia.
The following teams will face off in the first match of the group stage:
For Serie A: Paraguay vs. Canada and Mexico vs. Chile;
In Group B: Colombia vs Australia and Uruguay vs Argentina
And in group C: Brazil vs United States and Catalonia vs Bolivia.
