The Ordinary Congress of the World Futsal Association (Ordinary General Assembly), chaired by Paraguayan Rolando Juan Alarcón Ríos, will take place this Saturday and Sunday. The first session is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
The meeting will be held at the AMF headquarters located in the well-known Jara neighborhood of the Paraguayan capital, and will be attended by representatives and the main authorities of all countries affiliated with the parent organization of futsal worldwide.
The participation of leaders from America, Europe, Asia, Oceania and Africa has been announced, which will provide the appropriate framework for such an important event as an AMF Congress.
The call made by the Independent Electoral Commission of the AMF foresees the election of authorities, an opportunity in which the current head Rolando Alarcón will be re-elected for a new period from 2025-2029.
According to the agenda, the first item assigns the election of an assembly president, two secretaries to sign the corresponding minutes, and the assignment of two delegates present to sign the minutes jointly with the assembly president and secretaries. Following this, the reading and consideration of the president's report, the balance sheet and income statement, and the external audit report are scheduled.
And in point 3, the election of authorities is announced where, as we already stated above, the Paraguayan sports leader Rolando Juan Alarcón Ríos will be re-elected, who will be in charge for 4 more years.
And as the last item on the agenda, there will be miscellaneous matters where all requests for the organization of the different international tournaments for the next 4 years will be received, among other topics.
