The moment of truth has arrived at the AMF C20 World Indoor Soccer Championship, which is being held at the 1 de Noviembre Pavilion in Balaguer, Catalonia.
The eight teams that qualified in the preliminary phase face today the so-called "round of death" whereby a defeat leaves the team that suffers it out of the competition.
There is only room for four national teams, which today must advance to the semi-finals that will be played tomorrow, when at the same time, all or nothing will be the duels that will open the way to the final to fight for the title for the winners, on a day scheduled for Sunday, while the losers will play for the honorary access to the podium for third place.
Today's matches will begin at 2:00 p.m. local time and will continue throughout the afternoon and evening, with the main event being the host team's hosting of one of the highest-performing South American teams, which has reached this stage undefeated and on the back of a winning streak: Paraguay.
This is the program to be developed:
2:00 p.m.: Brazil vs. Australia
16.00 hours: Uruguay vs. Italy
18.00 hours: Colombia vs. Mexico
8:00 p.m.: Paraguay vs. Catalonia
