The flag-raising ceremony for the C17 indoor world championships took place today

This Friday at noon, the flag-raising ceremony, uniform presentation and farewell ceremony for the C17 indoor soccer team that will play the World Cup of this category in Ciudad del Este from Monday took place.

The event was led by the president of AMFutsal and the Paraguayan Indoor Soccer Federation, Dr. Rolando Juan Alarcón Ríos, accompanied by the top management of the Executive Committee of the FPFS and the head of the event's organizing committee, Mrs. Alba González de Bogado.

The captain of the Albirroja team, Oscar Osorio from Valle del Cauca, received the national flag from the top leader of indoor soccer in the world.

Later, the teams were handed out the uniforms that the Paraguayan team will wear in this new World Cup challenge, which will take place at the Alto Paraná Governorate Sports Center starting this Monday, with a day reserved for the city of Santa Rita on Tuesday.

The compatriot delegation, concentrated in the Hakaranda Sports Residence in Santísima Trinidad, will leave there on Saturday morning heading to Ciudad del Este where they will debut on Monday against Bolivia in the stadium of the Governorate of Alto Paraná.
The first round, which includes six matches, will start at 13:30 with Uruguay and France, followed by Catalonia-Mexico, Colombia-Canada and Brazil-Chile. After the fourth match, the opening ceremonies will take place, followed by the last matches of the day, Paraguay-Bolivia and Ecuador-India.
