Maldonado will host the 44th South American Club Championship in the South Zone

The department of Maldonado, one of the 19 in the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, and its cities of Pan de Azúcar and the capital of the same name will host a new edition, the 44th, of the continental championship that brings together the best indoor soccer club teams from the southern region of America.

The event will be held from Tuesday 11th to Saturday 15th of next March.

These are the participating teams:
ALBIÓN – Uruguay
INDEPENDENCE – Uruguay
September 29 – Paraguay
SPORTIVO ALTEÑO – Paraguay
ARAPOTIENSE – Brazil
Maipu City – Chile
ANGLO-SAXON – Chile

The Bolivian champion will be announced next week

The last champion of the contest was the Paraguayan team of José Meza from the city of Ñemby.
