President of the Republic received members of the Paraguayan team

In a pleasant meeting held at the “Mburuvichá Roga” residence, the President of the Republic of Paraguay Santiago Peña shared with the members of the Guaraní indoor soccer team and authorities of the AMF and the FPFS, headed by its owner Dr. Rolando Alarcón Ríos, who presented the Head of State with an official t-shirt of the three-time world champion that the president immediately wore. Peña urged the athletes to leave everything in pursuit of conquering a new star for indoor soccer and leaving well again in high to Paraguayan sport in this World Cup that will be played in Baja California 2023 from November 28 to December 4. Dr. Alarcón expressed his gratitude to the President of the Republic, highlighting that Paraguay always prepares to reach the top for that once again will seek to win another Mexico Cup. Finally, goalkeeper Sabino Alberto Meza spoke on behalf of the athletes. The national team will travel on Sunday to Tijuana where they will compete in the preliminary group stage as part of group B along with their peers from Australia, Venezuela and the United States.
