This Friday at 3:00 p.m., at the headquarters of the World Indoor Soccer Association in the capital of Paraguay, the city of Asunción, the draw for the C17 World Championship will be held.
The event will be chaired by the head of the world body, Dr. Rolando Juan Alarcón Rios and will be broadcast live, via streaming (Facebook AMF) .
The competition will take place in a single venue, Ciudad del Este, capital of the Alto Paraná department, with the participation of twelve teams that will seek the crown from May 20 to 26.
South America will be represented by Colombia, the defending champion, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Uruguay and host Paraguay. North America will be represented by Canada and Mexico. Europe will be represented by Catalonia and France, and Asia by India.
This is the second edition of the great competition, the first episode of which took place in 2016, with the title going to Colombia, which in the southern city of Encarnación, Itapúa, won the title by beating Paraguay 5 to 3 in the final.
