Paraguayans and Uruguayans are first winners in South American South Zone

Both Paraguayan teams (Remansito from Ciudad del Este and José Meza from Ñemby) and the Uruguayan team from Jave de Treinta y Tres, were the first winners of the 43rd edition of the South American club competition, South zone, which got underway last night in the José Meza stadium in Ñemby.

First thing in the morning, the Charrúas from Jave beat Raimundi/Dagheti from Brazil 8-2, in a match valid for Serie A. The goals for the winner were scored by Matias Gallego 2, Ramón Mongelos 2, Martin Aldave, Giuliano Mendez, Valentin Machado and Fabian Hernandez. Paulo Lopes and Kevin scored for the Brazilians.

In the second hour, Remansito from Ciudad del Este also overwhelmingly defeated Anglosajón de Chile 7 to 1 in interserial competition. Julio Samudio on four occasions, Marcos Garcia, Adan Román and Paulo Rodriguez built the Paraguayan victory, discounting Sebastián Bustos.

In the last match, José Meza, host of the competition, beat Alianza de Uruguay 6 to 1, with goals from Julio Rodas and Andres Rivas on two occasions each, Rolando Azcona and Cristian Azcona for the winner. Uraña scored the loser's only goal.

This Wednesday on date 2 they will face each other: Jave (URU) vs. Alianza (URU) from 6:00 p.m. in an interseries duel; Remanstio (PAR) vs. Raimundi-Dagheti (BRA) for series A and José Meza (PAR) vs. Anglosajón (CHI) for group B.POSITIONS Serie A: Jave 2, Remansito 2, Raimundi-Dagheti 0Serie B: Jose Meza 2, Alianza 0, Anglosajón 0
