José Meza of Paraguay wins absolute South American Club title

In a unique game for the absolute title of champion clubs at the continental level, played between the champions of the North Zone and South Zone of the competition, the Paraguayan team of Sportivo José Meza won the crown by defeating Caciques del Quindio, Colombia by 8 to 6.

The meeting was held at the South Coliseum in the town of Calarcá, department of Quindio, Colombia.

The goals for the Paraguayan team that won its fourth international title were the work of Julio Rodas 3, Rolando Azcona 2, Gustavo Benitez 2 and Ramón Mongelos.
