Jave Four-time champion in Uruguay

The JAVE team from the department of Treinta y Tres was crowned four-time Uruguayan champion after defeating El Timón de Pando by an aggregate of 10 to 8.

The Olimar orange club achieved its eighth national title and was three behind the most winners, Old Christians of Colonia, which has 11 titles.

Martín Aldave was the great driver that Jave had after being the figure in the finals and also in the championship.

Jave and El Timón, both finalists, qualified for the South American South Zone 2024 to be held at a venue to be defined

The 48th Uruguayan Championship began in May with 18 teams divided into three series of six and last Saturday reached its final at the Sergio Matto stadium in Canelones.

The Uruguayan Tournament is one of the oldest in the world since it has been played since 1975.
