January 28, 1965 went down in history as an emblematic date in international football, when the first international tournament played in the world was decided at the Comuneros stadium in Asunci\u00f3n, which Paraguay won undefeated, beating Brazil 3-1 in the final.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Paraguayan Indoor Soccer Federation celebrated its 60th anniversary with a double event. First, it was in the same place where the coliseum that was the scene of the great event was built (today Plaza Comuneros) and then at the Hakarand\u00e1 Residence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the first, the current president of the World Association, Dr. Rolando Alarc\u00f3n Rios, together with the head of the FPFS at that time, notary Luis Maria Zubizarreta, laid a floral offering at the monolith that perpetuates this sporting feat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the evening, the second activity was held to present a historical virtual book, "Indoor soccer in Paraguay, an example of struggle and glory 1962-2025", a work by Dr. Rolando Alarc\u00f3n Rios, who also announced other pleasant achievements of the institution under his charge, such as the imminent reopening of the institution's own headquarters and an agreement with the Paraguayan media, Megacadena de Comunicaci\u00f3n, for the mass dissemination of its competitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
